OK, we have to admit that it’s been a while since we posted on the blog!
We have been working on some really fun projects with a range of new clients.
With all the negativity out there and companies going under or just struggling, we have noticed a change in direction and needs from our customers, and we think it’s a great thing.
It’s not great that many companies out there are cash poor, but what it does is gets customers to focus the mind on how to make marketing budgets work hard for their money.
In January we launched our Strategic Marketing Packages, designed to review customers marketing budgets and focus only on activity that can show genuine ROI (real money into the business) and help customers understand how to measure these results.
Initially we had some concerns as customers always seem to live in fear about telling agencies their budgets… mainly because the general opinion is if you tell an agency your budget they will spend it all (and more!)
However, it’s about trust and collaboration, once customers realised they had full control and visibility over when and where the budget would be spent, they engaged in the process.
We have seen a massive increase in collaborative working with our clients, with both parties working in each other’s offices, freely discussing every aspect of the business, and the results speak for themselves. Gone are the days when the agency was just selected for its pretty pictures and flashy offices, now (at last) it’s about the brains and the strategy.
Hence from here on ECDM are not just an agency but a multi-channel strategic marketing company, the true value of any agency.
